Even after visiting Amsterdam many times, I still enjoy wandering around the canals. The uniquely Dutch architecture that lines the canals and the arch-like layout of the waterways makes for a great afternoon of meandering and exploring.
From the “scenery in the windows” and the cafes of the Red Light District to Anne Frank’s House and the Rijkmuseum, Amsterdam is a truly incredible city that makes a great boys weekend or a very fulfilling cultural and historical trip.
