Think you’re pretty savvy when it comes to picking places around the world just from photos? KLM are running a contest called Secret Cities each week until Friday April 24th which could see you win two free flights if you reckon you can match up a photo to a place on a map. Time to get your travel geek on boys and girls!
Secret Cities will be giving away two free flights to the person with the closest guess to where the daily picture is located. All you have to do is follow KLM on Twitter and do the following to have a chance of winning:
- Follow KLM’s tweets and keep an eye out at at 4pm each day and guess the city in the picture.
- Pinpoint the exact location of the picture on the map with a flag on Google Maps and submit it to Secret Cities.
- On Monday of each week the person with the closest guess that week will be announced as the winner, and they’ll get the choice of flights to one of the 5 destinations of that week’s Secret Cities.
The location of the previous day’s city will be revealed one day later at 4pm UK time on the Secret Cities website, so you can see how close you got.
Pretty cool competition huh? The last few weeks have included cities like Frankfurt, Hong Kong and San Francisco, so there’s tons of awesome cities you could win some tickets to. It’d be amazing to visit Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge, especially after getting there for free thanks to the Dutch flying wizards at KLM.
